Hello, my name is John Allford.

I am a Category 4 Forklift Instructor / Examiner / Tutor, accredited by the AITT and the owner of Steel City FLT Training a Category 3 training organisation.

I have 30 years of logistics industry experience with 19 years as an Instructor and 15 years as a Category 4 Tutor.

For 17 years, I worked on a subcontract basis for one of the UK’s largest MHE training providers.

On my Category 4 courses, I am consistently ranked as excellent by the visiting assessors from the accrediting body so you can be confident of

receiving a high quality professional service.

As an independent training provider with significantly lower overheads than the major training companies, I can offer exactly the same quality training at very competitive rates.
